The student must be enrolled full-time in a Missouri college or university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dhewd.mo.gov\/ppc\/grants-scholarships\/returning-heroes-act\">Missouri Returning Heroes\u2019 Education Act<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.senate.mo.gov\/08info\/bts_web\/Bill.aspx?SessionType=R&amp;BillID=61\">Senate Bill 830<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dhewd.mo.gov\/ppc\/grants-scholarships\/access-mo\"><strong>Access Missouri Financial Assistance Program<\/strong> <\/a>This grant is for all Missouri students who meet the application deadlines and have a Student Aid Index (SAI) of $20,000 or less. Students must be enrolled full-time and maintaining satisfactory academic progress.&nbsp; The amount varies by year based upon the state budgets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dhewd.mo.gov\/ppc\/grants\/public-service-officer\"><strong>Public Service Officer or Employee&#8217;s Child Survivor Grant Program<\/strong><\/a> This program provides tuition grants to public safety officers or Missouri Department of Transportation employees engaged in the construction or maintenance of the state&#8217;s highways, roads and bridges who were permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty. The grant is also available to their children and spouses, as well as the children and spouses who survive such employees who were killed in the line of duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dhewd.mo.gov\/ppc\/grants\/war-time-vet-survivor\"><strong>Wartime Veteran\u2019s Survivors Grant Program<\/strong><\/a> This grant is available to children and spouses of a veteran whose death or injury was the result of combat action or was attributed to an illness that was contracted while serving in combat action, or who became 80 percent disabled as a result of injuries or accidents sustained in combat action since Sept. 11, 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dhewd.mo.gov\/ppc\/grants-scholarships\/a-plus\"><strong>A+ Scholarship Program<\/strong><\/a> Students qualify for this program while in high school attending an A+ eligible institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dss.mo.gov\/fsd\/rsb\/\"><strong>Assistance for Students Who are Visually Impaired or Blind (Readers for the Blind Program)<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/a> Administered by Department of Social Services, Family Support Division\/ Rehabilitation Services for the Blind, P.O.
