This page is for informational purposes only, is non-partisan, and should serve only as a starting point for students to begin their voter registration process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Register to Vote<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To become a registered voter, you must be at least 17 \u00bd years old before registering. To vote in any Missouri election, you must:<br>\u2022 Be 18 years old by Election Day<br>\u2022 Be a United States citizen<br>\u2022 Be a Missouri resident<br>\u2022 Not be on probation after conviction for a felony or misdemeanor connected with voting or the right of others to vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a class=\"ecc-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sos.mo.gov\/elections\/goVoteMissouri\/register\">Register to Vote Here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Check your Voter Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you think you are registered to vote, and\/or have moved since you registered to vote, you may only need to confirm your registration and possibly update your address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a class=\"ecc-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sos.mo.gov\/elections\/goVoteMissouri\/register\">Check Your Voter Registration Here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Locate your Polling Site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Missouri Secretary of State has a Voter Outreach Center that allows you to locate your polling site, find upcoming elections and view candidates and their issues, and view the current districts. To locate any of this information, visit the online <a href=\"https:\/\/voteroutreach.sos.mo.gov\/PRD\/VoterOutreach\/VOSearch.aspx\">Missouri\u2019s Voter Outreach Center. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to bring on Election Day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To vote in the state of Missouri, a registered voter needs one of the following forms of identification:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A Missouri-issued Driver or Non-Driver license, United States Passport, or Military ID.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A secondary form of identification, such as a paycheck or bank statement, that, when provided, will require you to sign a statement confirming your identity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you cannot provide a form of identification but you are a registered voter, you may be permitted to cast a provisional ballot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Be an Informed Voter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ballotpedia.org\/Main_Page\">Ballotpedia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vote411.org\/\">Vote411 <\/a>are both excellent resources to learn about the candidates and ballot measures that you&#8217;ll be voting on. Simply use your address to see elections and candidates on your ballot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vote by Absentee Ballot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are a Missouri resident, you can learn more about voting absentee by visiting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sos.mo.gov\/elections\/goVoteMissouri\/howtovote#absentee\">Missouri Secretary of State\u2019s Absentee Voting webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are a Missouri resident, you can also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sos.mo.gov\/CMSImages\/ElectionGoVoteMissouri\/AbsenteeBallotRequestForm.pdf\">request a Missouri Absentee Ballot here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For residents of any other state, you can request your absentee ballot through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vote.org\/absentee-ballot\/\">vote.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mailed or faxed absentee ballot requests must be received by the appropriate election authority no later than 5 PM on the second Wednesday prior to any election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Know your Voter Rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have protected rights as a voter in elections. It\u2019s important to know these ahead of any election.
