Together, Knutson and McCallum create a rich visual conversation. The fluid, morphing identities within Knutson鈥檚 portraits find resonance in the stylized, contemplative figures of McCallum鈥檚 work. Their shared embrace of the imagination of the 鈥渇light of fancy鈥 reveals beauty in uncertainty, contradiction, and creative risk. 鈥淭he Flight of Fancy and Other Beautiful Mistakes鈥 is an immersive and evocative exhibition that invites viewers to wander through a world where the boundaries of reality soften, and where even missteps can become something extraordinary.
